Upon the creation of Three3 it was decided that the show shouldn’t be just about the performing, but to also give the audience the best in technical wizardry through the aid of professional sound and lighting.
Three3 set upon the industry to find equipment that would deliver the best in visual and audio quality and also be reliable and robust to with stand the harsh touring atmosphere it would be subjected to.
We enlisted the services of ROBE Show Lighting who's products were proving to be able to deliver such high demands. ROBE were a new company who had just branched out under there own brand name, as they had been around for some years making products for other companies.
Three3 were one of the first bands in the UK to tour ROBE products.
Robe are now a huge player in the lighting market and there products are used world wide, buy artistes such as Kylie, The Darkness, Deep Purple, and were used in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.
Martin Audio were the company of choice when it came to audio, once described as 'our dream rig' we took delivery of four of there professional touring speakers, along with amplification and signal processes. Martin Audio have been making world class speakers and components for many years and were used by the super groups of the day including 'Supertramp'. They are now speaker of choice for Ministry Of Sound, Shakira, The Strokes and many others.
Microphone technology is provided by Audio Technica, and comes in the guise of Artiste Elite 5000 systems, the same microphones can be seen used my Elton John, Enrique Iglesias and Gwen Steffani, and are currently used on 'Deal Or No Deal'.
Other equipment is used from manufacturers including, DBX, Yamaha, Light Processor, Le Maitre and Senheiser
